Tofu Francese recipe 
1/3 cup flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 tsp black pepper
3 tbsp oil
1 block extra-firm tofu . Patted dry & cubed
1/4 cup soy milk
1/2 lemon squeezed

Sauce;
1.5 cups vegetable broth
1/2 cup lemon juice
3 tbsp vegan butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic finely minced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1. Whisk together the soy milk and lemon juice and set aside for about 10 minutes.

2. Add the flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper to a bowl and stir to combine .

3. Dip the tofu in the soy milk mixture, then into the flour mixture and coat all sides

4. Heat a large frying pan over medium high heat , add 3 tbsp of oil and add the coated tofu to the pan , flip after 5 minutes and brown the other side for another 5 minutes

5. In a separate sauce pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil, add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the flour and whisk together. Add the broth, lemon juice and butter, whisk together and bring to a boil. Add the cooked tofu to the sauce .

6. Serve with rice or pasta , some fresh lemon slices and chopped parsley
